Useful notes include stack, constraints, and timeline. Short is fine. Vague “just checking in” usually isn’t. If it looks like a fit, we pick a first step before anyone talks about a rewrite.

Most work is project-based or hourly after a short free scoping reply. I don’t publish a rate card here; it depends on the stack and how messy things already are.
